We are not going to refer to ourselves as just Dog lovers, though we are, because it is only part of the truth.
To describe us completely we are Animal Lovers, pure and simple.
Since we were both young we have always either owned, or been around dogs with immediate family, many varieties, Elkhound, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, a Jack Russell, a Labrador x border collie x bull dog, a Border Collie X Heeler ( you’ll see plenty of him), several little Mexican terrors (Chihuahuas), Boston Terriers, Boxers, an Old English Sheep dog and a variety of Mutts!
To these you can add Alpacas, a variety of cats mostly mogs except for Saphire & Topaz our Birmans, Pigeons, Sheep, Caveys, Mice, Fresh and Salt water Fish, the list goes on.
We have bred, shown and have won a few ribbons over the years.
So we believe we know a little bit about animals, how to bring them up, train and breed them.
They have always been an integral part of our life and our world would not be fullfilled without them.
This Blog is based as much on our own experiences as it is on others that may contribute from time to time.
You may not always agree with what we say, but everything written is based on many years of experience, bringing up and training animals with love and kindness.
We find any form of animal abuse or cruelty totally abhorent and will never advocate any training techniques or gadgets that employ it.
